Kimber learning river and rushing water. Starting with a river that is low.
Another new experience. Nikki and Kimber to the Great Sand Dunes. Kimber was exposed to other people and other dogs as well as a different river and the sand. The more you can expose them to, the better.
ME AND MY DADDY
More adventure, different textures and challenges
Remember... everything is training. This next adventure was a different lake with a different dog. Hana the newfie is great with the pups.
On leash next to a rushing waterfall. For her safety, she was on leash. If she fell in, I could pull her out. She needs to be allowed to learn the rushing water and the dangers but with common sense and safety in mind.
Another day and back to the waterfall. This time you can see her confidence!
5 mos old and doing great!
She made good choices around the waterfall OFF LEASH
watching RC Boat
Not really sure what she thought she was doing ?
New experience. We took three dogs out at the same time, off leash along the creek. This adds distraction.
Today, the water was rushing from snow melt.
I had complete confidence in Kimber next to the water. The training is working.
